Stud welding for the most demanding requirements
Precise execution, high-speed operation and extreme versatility
Precise execution, high-speed operation and extreme versatility - the demands placed on stud welding machines are exacting. The AMADA's GUNMAN-1000 II stud welding machine is able to meet these requirements thanks to its special gripper electrode. This is configured for bolts and sleeves of different diameters and lengths.
The diameters M3 to M8 can be machined between the lengths of 6 and 25 mm and it is possible to provide up to five different bolt types in parallel in the magazine. If necessary, these can be automatically fed by the gripper electrode. The stud welding machine itself supports this operation with up to 90 programs. Thanks to the intelligent CNC controller, the existing programs can be called atany time from memory without any non-productive time. The GUNMAN-1000 II stud welding machine possesses acoordinate table which is able to support workpieces of up to 1100 mm x1000 mm. The workpiece is precisely positioned and fixed to this table.
Precise positioning guaranteed
The GUNMAN-1000 II provides the bolts and sleeves present in the magazine via hoses. A provisioning manipulator passes these to the gripper electrode which is able to take up bolts of diameter of up to 8 mm and fix these using its jawelectrode. It then positions the bolton the workpiece completely automatically. This guarantees that the bolt is applied to the workpiece in the required position and ready for welding. A fixing pin inside the gripper electrode ensures that the bolt is pressed on correctly. The length of this pin can be adjusted, thus making it possible to handle a wide variety of bolt types without having to change the gripper electrode. The GUNMAN-1000 II has a power rating of 3 kVA. With a positioning speed of 24 m/min and a cycle frequency of approximately 7s, the stud welding machine ensures fast, accurate results.
